Well I had the best of plans when I promised three weeks ago to update this more frequently. Of course that was before my mother fell and went into the hospital, and then a nursing home. Fortunately, she is recovering and able to be back home now. And in the midst of that we went through the Ohio Hurricane, like most of you, and were without power and had some shingles off. So for a while there, my time was spent gassing up the generator, and cleaning debris.
Beyond that every free minute is still going to polish up Myles Traveled. Today I was at the computer most of the day on that and my day job, and will continue into bedtime. I have made a lot of progress, as it was a good excuse to be inside during this heat.
On the Stories of the Shoe front, I have paid my advance and my license is renewed for another year, so I am good to go to continue to plug away on that project.
Lastly, on the ticket front, I was notified that my draw was Miami. I even scored another pair form my good friend who can't use his. So I will be in the Horseshoe for Urban's first game, and with mother nature's help, if it isn't too hot, will take grandson too! It will be the start of the Urban Meyer era, and someday, when that too will draw to a close, I will look back at what kind of a run it was, and hopefully say I was there when it started. I wonder what the history book will write for that? Only Father Time knows, and he isn't talking just yet.
Go Bucks!
