While others are still wringing their hands, I am actually looking forward to some football on the field this fall. The way I see it the world hasn't ended. The Best Damn Band In The Land will still make the Ramp Entrance. The crowd will still roar. And for gosh sakes, they will still surely sing Carmen Ohio at the end of the game. Goodness, fall camp is but 3 weeks away. Before you know it there will be a chill in the morning and the pop of pads in the air! As luck would have it, my alumni notification came this week and for a change it is a good game this year. Penn State was the name on my tickets as the dice finally rolled my way.

I also today nailed down a pair of Akron tickets, so I will be excited to be in the Horseshoe for Luke Fickel's opening game. This will be the fourth start of a new era in Buckeye football for me and I will be proud to be there for the man's debut. Here's to a long and successful run, and a new chapter in the continuing Stories of the Shoe!
