Wow!
What a Buckeye Dream Day switching back and forth between the toasting of the Lady Lions in Indy and the dismantling of the Badgers at the Schott.
We've had some good ones since Thad Matta got here, but I don't think we have ever had a group that is any more fun and satisfying to watch than this bunch. Unselfish. Old fashioned teamwork. Role players. Good kids. How many adjectives can you come up with to describe this group that checks their individual egos at the door and has so much fun playing with each other!
Inside, outside, post up, attack the basket, drain the three, run and gun, pull it up, lock down the defense. You just never know what game they are going to bring today, but you do know they will bring the one needed, and the one marked team rather than the one that says me first.
As good as today was, it was also bittersweet, because you know it marks the beginning of the end. Here's hoping they have nine more left in them just like today. These guys are way too special, and I want to savor every possible minute we have left with them.
Go Bucks!
