Bill Livingston, columnist for the Plain Dealer, wrote a column scathing Coach Tressel, OSU, and Terrelle Pryor, and about everything Buckeye when the suspension news first broke the day before Christmas. I thought it so unfair, that I unbookmarked him, after I sent him the email telling him in Season of Good Will Towards Men, he surely hadn't exhibited any!
So imagine my surprise when someone told me Wednesday that he had written a column calling the Sugar Bowl Jim Tressel's finest job of coaching.
Thinking, just like the Buckeye players, everyone deserves a second chance, I took a peek at what he wrote.
You should too. Bill's a good writer, and when you agree with him, his words flow like sweet music floating out of those mellow saxophones through the smoke of a Bourbon Street Blues club.
He wrote a nice column in describing what I too call "Coach Tressel's finest hour."
