We're not the only ones beating up on that school up north lately!

The Free Press this week has a "Caption This Cartoon"contest. This weeks cartoon is a Mike Thompson drawing of a Michigan State Fan and a Michigan Fan sitting at the lunch counter in a diner. The school up north fan is all glum looking and the MSU guy is holding up a newspaper with the headline "MSU Ranked #5". The contest is to put in the caption what the Spartan is saying to dejected guy in the maize and blue jersey.

So far there are 130 pages of captions submitted in the comments section. The title above, "It's been 2 weeks and it still hurts when you sit huh??" was one of my favorites.

But then again, I also could vote for "Arrogant much these days?" or even perhaps "With Your Record, Maybe You Guys Really Are The Harvard of the Midwest".

"Maybe You Guys Should Practice More" could also get some runner up votes!
