With the beginning of spring practice a new season is upon us. Both the Buckeye team and Stories of the Shoe website have a new look. We have freshened the look of our website and added this information/update box, which will help us keep you informed as we move forward on completing this project. Check back regularly on updates as to how the project is going and special announcements or story needs we might have.

There is plenty of time still to share a story with me for the book. As I have indicated elsewhere, the response has been so successful I will be waiting till fall of 08 to bring the book out. This will give me more time to do it thorough and do it right. If you have a story I still have room so please share.

Since this is my first update I will explain this space a little bit. I will be putting updates, notices, and requests for information in this space. This will be my way of communicating with you about the project and progress on the book. This space and the information and commentary in it will be about the book. If you are looking for commentary on scores, play calling, strategy, a sports blog or such like, you will not find it here.

And finally, I need to be perfectly clear. The project is licensed by the Ohio State University, and the final book will be cleared with (endorsed by) the University before publication, but any comments or writing in this update section are solely my commentary for the purpose of development of this project. They do not and should not reflect on nor imply endorsement of The Ohio State University.
